SCA Introduction to Coffee

This half-day course is ideal for anyone starting in the coffee industry or someone who simply has a passion for coffee. It offers an overview of the five areas of the SCA courses (Barista Skills, Brewing, Roasting, Sensory and Green Beans) and serves as a great starting point for any potential professional wishing to start a career.

In this course you will learn about:

• What is specialty coffee;
• The history of coffee;
• Harvesting and processing;
• The basics of roasting;
• Coffee freshness;
• Brewing/Barista basics.

Price: 80 JOD + 60 JOD (SCA certification)

Exam: One written exam (pass rate of 60% required to obtain 10 points towards your SCA Coffee Skills Program Diploma).
