Interested in making Cold Brew at home? Well with the Filter-in Coffee Bottle, it just became much easier than improving with a French Press or trying some quirky long extraction on a V60 (we’ve heard it all!).
Simply place the ground coffee in the built-in strainer, pour water over the bed and allow to rest for several hours.
If you’re looking for a recipe to follow, start with a generic 40g to 500ml of room-temperature water and allow to rest for 8-10 hours. Gentle shaking 5-10 times prior to resting can also improve extraction. Based on the results, you can then amend the recipe.
Cold Brew is in fact more complex than many think. If you would like to learn more about how to make cold brew or about how we make our cold brew at the roastery, get in touch and we’ll be more than happy to share some tips on how to get great results at home.
