Colombia offers extraordinary diversity in coffee. From bright, fruit-forward profiles to deeper chocolatey cups with mellow sweetness, few origins offer such a wide spectrum of flavour.
Since late 2019, we’ve worked directly with partners across the southern regions of Colombia, building relationships centred around quality, transparency, and long-term sustainability.
Many of the producers we work with are part of communities rebuilding after decades of conflict. Some are former members of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia who returned to farming following the 2016 peace agreement, while others are indigenous farming communities focused on strengthening organic agriculture and creating better opportunities for younger generations.
What has always mattered most to us is that coffee creates lasting value for the people behind it. Through direct trade, producers are paid significantly above market price, allowing quality-focused farming to become more sustainable over time.
Colombia’s main harvest runs from September through January, followed by the smaller fly crop between April and August. By importing directly after each harvest, we’re able to roast fresh crop coffees throughout the year — the majority of which are organically grown.
Our Colombian Blend, sourced from Cauca, Huila, and Nariño, reflects that long-term approach.
Rather than relying on a single farm, we build the blend from multiple producers across southern Colombia. Every harvest naturally differs — even coffees from the same farm evolve from year to year. Blending allows us to preserve consistency in the cup while still working with fresh seasonal coffees, resulting in a profile that remains balanced, sweet, and reliable throughout the year.
